Counting over sixteen (16) years’ experience in the field of Taxation including more than ten (10) years post qualified experience. He has a strong experience in finalizing the tax matters of the clients by reaching a settlement with the Department of Inland Revenue during the tax audits and also, is having a strong experience in finalizing tax matters of the clients through appeal procedures
He has also hands on experience in tax planning, monitoring the tax compliance of the clients, which includes manufacturing entities, exporters, retail & wholesale businesses, banking and financial institutions, other service providers, etc.
He is a founder member of BNI Benchmark Chapter in Sri Lanka and played various key roles
He is also a member of Tax – Technical Committee of CA Sri Lanka
He has made several presentations to business owners on budget proposals / tax reforms and also has lectured for CIMA, CA Sri Lanka and AAT
